Lennart Karl steals in behind Atlético Madrid to inspire Bayern Munich win

Bayern Munich secured a victory over Atletico Madrid in a Champions League fixture, asserting their status as strong contenders this season. The German side maintained control throughout the match, ultimately breaking the deadlock in the 54th minute.

Lennart Karl provided the opening goal, followed by a second strike from Konrad Laimer to seal the result after the team recorded nineteen total shots. Harry Kane participated in the match as his first European appearance since receiving the Ballon d'Or, though he did not find the back of the net.

The win serves as a positive development for the squad at a location where Kane previously experienced a defeat in the 2019 final.
