Bears vs. Seahawks Game Balls: The Nation Takes Notice

The Chicago Bears solidified their status as championship contenders by defeating the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field on November 2, 2026. This victory, following a win against the New England Patriots, marks the first time in NFL history a team has beaten both of the previous year's Super Bowl participants in consecutive weeks.

Quarterback Caleb Williams led the effort by throwing for 247 yards and one touchdown, becoming the first signal-caller to surpass 200 passing yards against Seattle this season. Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons also played a pivotal role in the win, providing an immediate impact on the Chicago defensive front.
