Jannik Sinner Injury Update: 3 Big Effects Of Shanghai Withdrawal

Top-ranked men's tennis player Jannik Sinner has officially pulled out of the upcoming Rolex Shanghai Masters due to an ongoing right-knee issue. This absence extends his time away from professional competition, which began following his four-set victory over Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon final on July 12.

With Sinner sidelined since that major triumph, Zverev now has a prime opportunity to claim the world number one ranking by securing victories at both Beijing and Shanghai.
