Klopp admitted he felt uneasy about his own past public remarks regarding the player, prompting him to hold a private conversation with the 33-year-old before finalizing the 24-man roster. The coach clarified that while he stands by the factual accuracy of his previous comments, he remains impressed by the striker's current form and leadership qualities.
