Is Cam Skattebo the next athlete to receive the Jonas Brothers blessing?

Pop musician Nick Jonas believes New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo could become the latest beneficiary of the famous concert good-luck charm. Historically, stars such as baseball player Cody Bellinger, football quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and motorsport racer Lewis Hamilton achieved major milestones shortly after viewing a performance by the musical trio.

Skattebo recently attended a Newark gig and hit the links with Kevin Jonas, who also joined the rusher and quarterback Jaxson Dart at the NBA Finals. The pop group is slated to perform at the opening week halftime contest between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

New York hopes the musical good fortune sparks a rebound campaign for Skattebo following a shortened 2025 season caused by a dislocated right ankle. Over eight appearances before his injury, the second-year back generated 410 yards on the ground with five scores across 101 attempts, alongside 207 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

Jonas, an avid supporter of the franchise who recently joined Kevin Hart for a DraftKings promotional initiative, expressed enthusiasm for New York's youthful roster, highlighting Dart alongside Skattebo as key talents to track.
