IND vs AFG LIVE Score, 2nd T20I 2026: Arshdeep gives India first strike, Ibrahim Zadran comes up with a strong reply

After India opted to bowl first upon winning the toss in the second T20I, Jasprit Bumrah opened the contest with a scoreless maiden over before Arshdeep Singh removed Rahmanullah Gurbaz for a duck via a top-edged catch in the second over. Despite the immediate setback leaving Afghanistan at zero for one, skipper Ibrahim Zadran countered promptly by striking consecutive fours off Bumrah.

Zadran paired with Sediqullah Atal to recover the innings, steering their side to 41 for one by the close of the powerplay. The duo carried their combined stand beyond the fifty-run threshold to reach 51 for one after eight overs, before Nitish Kumar Reddy eventually stepped in to secure India's second wicket.
