In Patrick Mahomes' return, Chiefs run all over Broncos behind Kenneth Walker III's career-high outing

Kansas City rolled to a decisive 31-10 victory over Denver to kick off the season on Monday night. Back on the field, Patrick Mahomes sparked the offense early by scrambling for the game's first touchdown, while Travis Kelce also featured in the home win against their division foes.

Denver quarterback Bo Nix struggled to find a rhythm as the visiting side fell behind and could not recover.

Newly acquired running back Kenneth Walker III served as the focal point of the ground attack, posting a career-best performance that included a pair of scores. His highlight of the night came on a dynamic 60-yard scamper into the end zone, during which he broke free from Broncos defender Brandon Jones.
