Patrick Mahomes' third TD gives Chiefs a 24-13 lead

Kansas City has extended its advantage over Denver to 24-13 as the third quarter winds down. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes connected with tight end Noah Gray for a short touchdown toss to cap a lengthy offensive sequence.

That scoring play arrived moments after crucial third-down conversions to Gray and Cyrus Allen. Through the second half, the offense has dominated possession with extended drives, while the defense has completely bottled up the opposing attack.

In injury news, defensive lineman Peter Woods has been sidelined for the remainder of the contest due to a neck issue.
