Deion Sanders Makes Plea To Colorado Fans After Disappointing 2-2 Start To Season

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is asking supporters to maintain their faith in quarterback Julian Lewis following a tough 23-13 defeat against Baylor that dropped the squad to a 2-2 record. During the weekend contest, Lewis was replaced by backup Isaac Wilson after completing 11 of 16 passes for 75 yards, while Wilson finished the matchup going 12-for-25 with 156 yards and a touchdown.

Sanders shouldered the blame for the quarterback switch and urged fans not to abandon Lewis, expressing strong confidence in the young player's heart and effort as the team prepares for its remaining eight games.
