‘ESPN Absolutely Botched Enter Sandman,’ ‘Coolest Entrance in College Football’ — CFB Fans Have Mixed Reactions to Virginia Tech’s Viral Walkout

Virginia Tech's iconic pregame tradition drew mixed reactions during a Friday night matchup against Pittsburgh, as supporters criticized the broadcast crew's camera angles and editing choices during the famous walkout. While some viewers felt the production ruined the moment by relying too heavily on tight frames and excessive cuts, others still praised the electric environment at the sold-out venue as college football's premier spectacle.

Head coach James Franklin had the team sitting at an undefeated 4-0 record entering the contest, bringing additional excitement to a stadium that has utilized the Metallica anthem since 2000.
