Spain’s Under-17 national team has unveiled its 20-player roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with a strong showing from Barcelona’s La Masia academy. Seven young prospects from the club’s youth ranks have secured spots in the squad, underscoring the continued influence of the academy in shaping Spain’s future talent.

The tournament, set to run from November 20 to December 13, will serve as a key proving ground for these players as they aim to make an impact on the international stage.

The Spanish Football Federation’s selection highlights the depth of development within the country’s youth system, particularly at Barcelona, where the academy has long been a pipeline for top-tier footballers. With the World Cup taking place in Qatar, the squad will face stiff competition as they look to build on recent successes in youth competitions.
