CBS Sports analysts have revised their midseason forecasts for the 12-team College Football Playoff, following a series of preseason predictions that proved inaccurate. While Ohio State, Georgia, and Miami are still contenders for top four seeds, Oregon and Texas have fallen out of favor for first-round byes.
Oklahoma, currently 3-3, has a 0.4 percent chance of qualifying according to the network's model, while Michigan has a 1 percent chance. Most of the network's nine experts, excluding Brad Crawford and the author, had initially predicted the Sooners would make the field.
