Five things we learned from Champions League: PSG's depth too much for Barca; Rio Ngumoha key for Liverpool?

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Barcelona 4-2 in a high-profile Champions League clash, demonstrating significant squad depth despite injuries forcing Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia off the pitch. The back-to-back European champions led the match twice before securing the victory against a well-positioned opponent.

In other results, Liverpool beat Villarreal 4-3, with 18-year-old Rio Ngumoha playing a pivotal role in the win. Manchester City also showcased their bench strength by defeating AEK Athens 5-1, featuring contributions from Phil Foden.

These performances highlight how various clubs are relying on a broader range of players to sustain their campaigns as the season progresses.
