Christian Watson explains his whirlwind, roundtrip hospital visit: ‘I was spitting a little blood’

Green Bay wide receiver Christian Watson made a stunning return to the gridiron during Thursday's matchup after an ambulance ride to a local medical center. Following a heavy collision from two opposing defenders in the second quarter, medical personnel transported the pass-catcher off the pitch to rule out internal issues after he noticed minor bleeding.

Despite the detour, Watson managed to monitor the live game updates via a doctor's mobile device before getting cleared to rejoin his squad. He eventually made it back to the arena just in time to contribute additional yardage, helping the Packers preserve a 27-19 victory over Carolina and elevate their record to five wins and three losses.
