Chiefs elevate 2 practice squad players for ‘Sunday Night Football’

As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to host the Indianapolis Colts for an upcoming Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 2, the team has taken steps to address roster depth. Following a knee injury to Cooper McDonald that landed him on injured reserve and forced him to miss at least four weeks, the franchise held tryouts for multiple linebackers.

Additionally, the squad will be without Josh Simmons and Chamarri Conner for their second straight contest, and Chris Jones is listed as questionable on the final injury report.
