Canadiens Get Ready For Road Trip Without Suzuki

The Montreal Canadiens are preparing for an upcoming road trip while dealing with a major roster blow. Captain Nick Suzuki has been sidelined with an upper body injury after blocking a shot during the game against the San Jose Sharks, ending his remarkable consecutive games played streak at 546 contests.

In response to the absence, management recalled Owen Beck from the Laval Rocket while head coach Martin St-Louis reshuffled the lineup. Oliver Kapanen has been promoted to center the top line alongside Juraj Slafkovsky and Cole Caufield for the upcoming fixtures.
