Browns NFL draft position: Rams make Week 8 worse for CLE; 2 picks very close together

Cleveland head coach Todd Monken and his squad have enjoyed a strong enough campaign in 2026 to keep the fanbase focused on weekly results rather than looking too far ahead. However, their future draft capital remains a major storyline due to an extra selection acquired from the Los Angeles Rams.

Prior to Monday Night Football, the Rams' pick sits at 16th overall while Cleveland's own selection is positioned closely behind at 18th in the opening round of the 2027 draft.
