Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma have been included in India A’s 15‑member squad for the ACC Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup, a 50‑over competition scheduled in Doha, Qatar from 19 to 29 November. Both players, known for their aggressive T20 style, will now have a chance to prove their skills in the longer format, with Sooryavanshi aiming to cement a place across all three formats after a prolific List A season that saw him amass 564 runs at 43.38, including a 190‑run innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Tilak Varma will lead the side, supported by deputy Rajat Patidar, while the squad also features other T20 regulars and several all‑rounders. Former India all‑rounder Yuvraj Singh has publicly advocated for the inclusion of Sooryavanshi, Abhishek and Ishan Kishan in the senior ODI team, highlighting the need to utilise their talent in the 50‑over game.
