BAN vs WI, 3rd Test: Roston Chase sparks Bangladesh collapse as West Indies on top after Day 3

Roston Chase dominated the third day of the opening Test in Mirpur, dismantling the Bangladesh batting lineup to leave the hosts struggling at 79 for six. Despite holding a 106-run lead, Bangladesh faces a difficult path forward with Jaker Ali and Nayeem Hasan both unbeaten on 18 at the close of play.

Earlier, Nayeem Hasan spearheaded the Bangladesh bowling effort by claiming four wickets to dismiss the West Indies for 245, granting the home side a slim 27-run first-innings advantage. Tagenarine Chanderpaul led the visitors with 56 runs, while Justin Greaves contributed 46 before the Bangladesh spinners systematically removed the remaining batters.

Chase then shifted the momentum by taking three key wickets in the second innings, effectively neutralizing the top order before rain and fading light curtailed the day's action.
