49ers star talks ‘triangle rivalry’ in NFC West after huge win over Seahawks

The San Francisco 49ers secured a hard-fought 32-29 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in a critical NFC West showdown, ending a five-game stretch where Seattle had posed the toughest test for the division leaders. The win solidified the 49ers’ top spot in the division by two games, while the Seahawks’ 2-3 record now trails the Rams, who will look to close the gap in Monday Night Football.

Offensive tackle Trent Williams highlighted the unique intensity of the NFC West, calling it a ‘triangle rivalry’ among the three teams, where every win carries extra weight. With all three squads expected to contend for playoff spots, the division’s fierce competition remains a defining feature of the league this season, and the 49ers’ latest triumph underscores their ability to thrive in high-pressure matchups against elite opponents.
