49ers defense gets good injury news as door is left open for Nick Bosa to return against Falcons

The San Francisco 49ers defense is trending toward better health as the team prepares for its upcoming matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated that defensive end Nick Bosa might make his return this weekend, having missed action since a September calf injury.

Meanwhile, linebacker Dre Greenlaw has resumed full practice participation following his one-game league suspension. In contrast, the offensive unit faces mounting concerns as wide receiver Deebo Samuel sat out Wednesday due to a hamstring issue.

Adding to those offensive troubles, teammate Mike Evans exited the recent Monday matchup with an Achilles injury and is expected to sit out the next contest.
