Yaxel Lendeborg scores career-high 31 points in Warriors first win

Golden State secured their initial victory of the campaign by defeating Denver 134-114. Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg spearheaded the effort with a career-best 31 points, adding 12 rebounds, six assists, and a block to his stat line.

The first-year player connected on 9-of-19 field goals and was nearly perfect at the charity stripe, hitting 12 of his 13 attempts. Stephen Curry also delivered a flawless performance, contributing 24 points without missing a single shot from the floor or the line.

Head coach Steve Kerr praised the newcomer's poise and ability to impact the game, noting that while there is still room for development, his early contributions have been significant. Through his first four professional appearances, Lendeborg is averaging 21.8 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 4.8 assists.
