Jerry Jones followed up on his post-game hint from Week 2 by orchestrating a late Wednesday trade to bring Joey Porter Jr. to Dallas. The franchise sent a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round draft choice to Pittsburgh in exchange for the standout cornerback.
Porter had missed the opening three weeks of action while locked in a contract standoff with the Steelers over a multi-year extension. The 26-year-old defensive back enters the final season of his rookie contract, having previously led all qualified cornerbacks in passer rating allowed during the 2025 campaign.
