'Really Happy For Him': Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews And John Tavares Reflect On Mitch Marner's Playoff Success With Golden Knights

Ahead of their opening road fixture on Tuesday evening, Toronto Maple Leafs forwards Auston Matthews and John Tavares discussed facing former teammate Mitch Marner and the Vegas Golden Knights. During the previous postseason run, Marner topped the league with twenty-nine points across twenty-two matches as Vegas reached the Stanley Cup final before falling in six games to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Matthews and Tavares expressed their continued friendship and shared fond memories of their years playing alongside Marner in Toronto.
