Yamal breaks Mbappé's teenage Champions League record in win

Lamine Yamal has surpassed Kylian Mbappe to become the most prolific teenage scorer in Champions League history. The Barcelona forward reached 14 goals in the tournament by netting the opener during a 3-0 victory against Aston Villa.

Raphinha also contributed two goals to the win, which lifted the Spanish side to second in the league phase standings. Yamal achieved this milestone in 37 appearances, building on a career that already includes records as the youngest starter and youngest semifinal scorer in the competition.

He currently sits behind Harry Kane and Mbappe in recent Ballon d'Or standings following his strong start to the season.
