The inaugural College Football Playoff rankings have been unveiled, positioning Miami at the top spot followed by Georgia and Utah. This initial assessment highlights a busy upcoming schedule featuring four contests between top-15 programs, including Miami facing Notre Dame and a rivalry clash between BYU and Utah.

Other notable matchups include Georgia against Ole Miss and Alabama traveling to face LSU. Ohio State currently sits at number 12, narrowly missing the projected bracket, while Boise State holds the 25th position as the sole representative from the Group of 6.
