The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the full schedule for the fifth edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), set to kick off on January 14, 2027, and conclude on February 7. The tournament will feature 22 matches across two host cities: Vadodara and Mumbai.
Vadodara will host the first leg, spanning January 14 to January 24, with the final match of that leg featuring UP Warriorz against Gujarat Giants. After a one-day break, the action shifts to Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium, where the second leg begins on January 26 and wraps up with Delhi Capitals taking on UP Warriorz on February 3.
The playoffs will also be held at Brabourne Stadium, with the Eliminator scheduled for February 5 and the final on February 7, both starting at 7:30 PM IST. The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, will open the tournament against two-time champions Mumbai Indians in Vadodara, repeating the fixture in Mumbai’s second leg.
The league follows a double round-robin format, with the top team advancing directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams compete in the Eliminator for the remaining playoff spot. The fourth and fifth-placed teams will conclude their league campaigns without further playoff participation.
