WPL 2027 auction: Gujarat Giants signs G. Kamalini for Rs. 40 lakh

During the WPL 2027 auction held in Kochi, the Gujarat Giants successfully acquired wicketkeeper-batter G. Kamalini for her base valuation of 40 lakh rupees. Since there were no competing offers from other franchises, the acquisition was completed without a bidding contest.

The eighteen-year-old athlete previously represented the Mumbai Indians across two seasons, winning the tournament championship in 2025 before being released due to availability considerations. In her prior ten league appearances, she accumulated 104 runs with a top score of 32.
