Chiefs sign veteran kicker Justin Tucker: What to know

Following a difficult performance in a 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Kansas City Chiefs have added veteran kicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad. This move comes as current kicker Harrison Butker faces scrutiny for missing two field goal attempts during the Week 7 contest at Lumen Field.

Tucker returns to the league after a hiatus that began in 2024, providing the team with an alternative option as they address recent struggles in their kicking game.
