All Spanish cup matches suspended after Madrid train collision

The Spanish Football Federation has called off all 24 Copa del Rey fixtures scheduled for Wednesday following a deadly train derailment near Toledo. Over 30 fatalities were reported after two trains carrying more than 500 passengers collided.

In response to the tragedy, top-flight clubs including Levante, Alaves, Valencia, Celta Vigo, and Real Betis have had their matches postponed. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona issued official statements offering condolences to the victims and support for rescue crews.

While Wednesday's slate is cancelled, the federation has not yet announced a revised schedule, and matches currently slated for Thursday remain on the calendar.
