‘I would like to be a free agent’: Renato Moicano plans to fight out remainder of deal ahead of UFC Vegas 123 headliner

Renato Moicano is preparing for his upcoming lightweight main event against Tom Nolan at UFC Vegas 123, noting that he has three bouts remaining on his current contract. The veteran fighter intends to complete these obligations before exploring his status as a free agent to evaluate his career options, which include potential ventures in boxing or media.

Moicano recently rebounded from losses to Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush by defeating Chris Duncan in April. He turned down a third attempt to schedule a bout with Brian Ortega, opting instead to face the rising contender Nolan to ensure he remains active before his wife gives birth to twins in December.
