Will Indiana Fever Fire Stephanie White After Latest News?

Despite calls for her dismissal following a first-round exit in 2026, Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White will not be fired. The team had previously reached the semifinals in 2025, but their 2026 postseason performance declined.

This decision comes amid a shakeup in leadership, as the franchise recently dismissed general manager Amber Cox and president Kelly Krauskopf, both of whom had hired White to replace Christie Sides after the 2024 season.

White's contract runs for one more year, and the organization plans to let it expire and assess her status in 2027. While the team struggled in the playoffs, they boasted the WNBA's top offense in 2026, leading the league in points scored with 4,222 and an offensive rating of 117.0.
