Marco Bezzecchi issues defiant MotoGP title message to Jorge Martin

Jorge Martin faces a significant setback in his championship defense after a high-speed accident at Turn 8 during the Australian Grand Prix sprint left him with a fractured wrist. The Aprilia rider, who held a two-point lead entering the weekend, has been ruled out of the Sunday race and remains uncertain for the upcoming Malaysian round.

Marc Marquez capitalized on the incident to move 10 points clear in the standings with five events remaining. Marco Bezzecchi, who recovered from a ninth-place start to secure fourth in the sprint, expressed sympathy for his rival and insisted the title race remains open.

Bezzecchi currently sits 50 points behind the leader in third place.
