During the WNBA Finals, the Atlanta Dream hold a two to one series advantage over the Golden State Valkyries, with Angel Reese performing at an MVP level. Discussion has arisen due to players from both franchises leaving the playing floor prior to the U.S.

national anthem during the opening three matchups. Gabby Williams addressed the situation, clarifying that departing the court beforehand has been a standard pre-game habit for roughly seven years and does not constitute a demonstration.

State Farm Arena is scheduled to host the fourth game of the series on Saturday.
