Virginia men’s tennis: Dietrich and Santamarta Roig win pro titles on the same Sunday

Despite the collegiate season being months away from team matches, the University of Virginia tennis program celebrated a remarkably successful Sunday as two standout competitors secured professional trophies across the country. Fourth-year athlete Dylan Dietrich captured his second ATP Challenger tournament crown within a span of four weeks during competition held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, defeating a top-one-hundred adversary for the initial time in his career.

Meanwhile, second-year teammate Andres Santamarta Roig triumphed at an ITF M25 event located in Las Vegas after overcoming the top-seeded opponent in his opening bracket match.
