Villa eye Endrick loan deal - Wednesday's gossip

October 6, 2026

Aston Villa are reportedly preparing to finalize a loan move for Brazilian forward Endrick, who has struggled to make an impact under Real Madrid manager José Mourinho. The 20-year-old’s limited playing time at the Spanish giants has sparked interest from Premier League clubs, with Villa seen as a potential suitor for the next campaign.

Meanwhile, Manchester City midfielder Rayan Cherki remains a target for top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool, should he become available. The 23-year-old French international’s future could hinge on his role under Pep Guardiola, with multiple sides monitoring his development closely.

Elsewhere, Bournemouth are firmly resisting transfer speculation surrounding midfielder Alex Scott, despite Chelsea and Real Madrid’s reported interest. The 23-year-old England international has already been scouted multiple times by Los Blancos, with Liverpool and AC Milan also tracking his progress.

In contrast, Real Madrid’s Antonio Rüdiger is set to leave the club at season’s end after the German defender’s contract expires, ending a decade-long tenure. Meanwhile, Tottenham are focusing on a budget-friendly striker in January, while Bayern Munich continue to eye Manchester United’s JJ Gabriel, though financial hurdles persist in securing his signature.

Newcastle’s Nick Pope is also under observation as his contract nears expiration, with Bayern monitoring his availability.
