Former UFC fighter Sam Alvey is making the transition to bareknuckle boxing, signing an exclusive multi-fight deal with BKFC. The promotion confirmed the agreement, with Alvey set to make his debut on December 4 at a Fight Night event in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Though he will compete exclusively in BKFC’s bareknuckle division, Alvey remains under contract with Karate Combat, where he recently won the light heavyweight title by unanimous decision over Uriah Hall this summer. Prior to that, he had successfully defended the Karate Combat heavyweight title three times before losing it to Robelis Despaigne last December.
Alvey’s UFC career spanned from 2014 to 2022, during which he compiled an 11-13 record before being released in 2022.
