Alex Pereira will return to the UFC octagon on December 12, facing off against Sergei Pavlovich in the UFC 335 co-main event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Brazilian, known as 'Poatan,' will look to bounce back from his recent loss to Ciryl Gane, which ended his light heavyweight title reign as he pursued a historic three-division championship bid.
Pavlovich, currently ranked No. 2 in the light heavyweight division, enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak, including a dominant 39-second knockout victory over Tallison Teixeira in May.
The fight, set for five rounds, has been framed as a potential title shot opportunity for Pereira should he secure a win, while Pavlovich aims to extend his current momentum. Oddsmakers have set Pereira as a slight underdog, with BetOnline Sports & Casino listing him at +105 against Pavlovich’s -120.
Meanwhile, the UFC 335 card will also feature a BMF title clash between Charles Oliveira and Diego Lopes, marking Lopes’ lightweight debut.
