Tyler’s Take: How Washington Commanders can fix what’s currently broken (@Tiller56)

The Washington Commanders kicked off their campaign with a tight 24-22 defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles. Washington nearly pulled off a late comeback, but an unsuccessful two-point try with 61 seconds left on the clock sealed their fate.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels dealt with persistent blocking breakdowns throughout the matchup, though his individual showing alongside the defensive unit provided bright spots despite familiar offensive line vulnerabilities.

Following the contest, head coach Dan Quinn publicly criticized a starter for a display he deemed totally intolerable. Roster reviews highlighted standout contributions from Antonio Williams and Tyler Owens, while Nick Allegretti experienced a tougher outing, and Sonny Styles was among the other figures drawing scrutiny in the opener.
