Two Colorado defenders rank among Big 12's leading tacklers

Entering their rest week, the Colorado Buffaloes boast two defensive players sitting near the summit of the Big 12 tackling leaderboard. Randon Fontenette has accumulated 40 stops while teammate Gideon Lampron has recorded 38, placing them second and tied for third in the conference respectively.

During their recent matchup against Texas Tech, both players delivered critical plays despite occasional errors. Fontenette registered a sack and forced a punt, though he also committed costly penalties, whereas Lampron stopped an opponent on fourth down and added several tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
