Baseball fans can look forward to a busy schedule today as the 2026 postseason officially gets underway with a quadruple-header across both leagues. The opening slate kicks off early in the morning when the Atlanta Braves host the Philadelphia Phillies, followed immediately by an afternoon matchup between the Houston Astros and the Chicago White Sox.

Later in the day, the action shifts westward as the San Diego Padres welcome the Chicago Cubs to Petco Park for an evening clash. Finally, the New York Yankees conclude the opening day schedule by hosting the Boston Red Sox for their series opener.
