Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy recently highlighted starting pitcher Tarik Skubal for maintaining complete focus on the team's postseason pursuit rather than his impending offseason free agency. Skubal has quietly impressed teammates by ignoring his upcoming financial windfall and instead prioritizing club success following his arrival prior to the trade deadline.

Since joining Los Angeles, Skubal has delivered ten starts resulting in a 5-2 record, a 2.36 earned run average, and seventy strikeouts. The team selected him to take the mound for the opening matchup of the National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves.

Meanwhile, fellow pitcher Tyler Glasnow noted that Skubal has quickly formed a strong bond with teammate Blake Snell inside the clubhouse.
