Transfer rumors, news: Could Brazil offer Richarlison a route out of Tottenham?

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Richarlison may secure an exit to Brazilian side Vasco da Gama after missing out on potential transfers to Everton and Trabzonspor prior to the European deadline. The 29-year-old was omitted from Spurs' official Premier League roster, leaving him ineligible to feature in domestic league matches.

Although he initially weighed taking legal steps to terminate his deal in North London, he has abandoned that plan while Vasco attempts to finalize terms.

Elsewhere across the market, Real Madrid playmaker Arda Guler has committed his future to the Spanish giants through 2031 under a newly agreed, lucrative extension after recording 19 goals and 26 assists in 116 matches. Aston Villa are similarly pushing to renew 24-year-old left-back Ian Maatsen to ward off Manchester United interest, even though his existing contract runs through 2030.
