Thibaut Courtois makes Real Madrid history with milestone appearance against Racing: ‘A huge source of pride’

Thibaut Courtois reached a significant landmark during a recent three-goal shutout against Racing Santander by matching Miguel Angel with his 346th match for the club. The Belgian goalkeeper stated that tying this record and wearing the captain's armband was a major honor, placing him behind only Paco Buyo and Iker Casillas in total appearances for the Spanish squad.

Courtois also evaluated the team's performance, noting a dip in pace and control during the latter portions of the match before praising the overall squad unity and the contributions of fellow goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.
