Thibau Nys to kick off cyclo-cross campaign at Koppenbergcross after challenging road season

Thibau Nys is preparing to launch his cyclo-cross campaign this weekend at the Koppenbergcross event in Oudenaarde. Having experienced a demanding road campaign that included knee surgery in March and a DNF at the Road World Championships, the 23-year-old rider is aiming exclusively for a victory in his opening mud race of the season.

His father Sven previously secured nine victories at the famous Flemish race, while Thibau claimed top honors in both 2023 and 2025 as he pursues a family dynasty legacy.
