Atlanta Dream Blames WNBA After Must-Win Finals Game 6 Is Scheduled for Shockingly Early Start

The Atlanta Dream organization expressed frustration with the league following the decision to place Game 6 of the championship series in the early afternoon on a Thursday. This unusual timing became necessary because State Farm Arena was already booked for an Atlanta Hawks fixture on the same evening.

Team leadership released a public statement criticizing the league for ignoring earlier warnings about potential venue conflicts throughout the postseason run. Although the franchise typically hosts matches at Gateway Center Arena, higher-capacity arrangements were made for the later rounds at the larger facility.
