Stephanie White Staying With Indiana Fever Despite GM’s Departure Leaves WNBA Fans Frustrated

Despite a major front-office shake-up in Indiana, head coach Stephanie White is reportedly expected to stay in her position. The Fever's recent leadership changes included the parting of team president Kelly Krauskopf and the dismissal of general manager Amber Cox on the same day.

This decision has sparked significant backlash from the local fan base, as many supporters have been calling for White's removal throughout the 2026 season. Much of the frustration stems from perceived tensions between the coach and star guard Caitlin Clark, including a heated exchange during a game against the Portland Fire on May 30.
