The Pittsburgh offense is set to receive a much-needed boost as receiver Michael Pittman Jr. prepares to take the field for Sunday's matchup against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals.
Pittman was previously sidelined during the Week 2 defeat against the New England Patriots due to a foot issue and entered the weekend carrying a questionable designation. During his initial appearance with the team two weeks ago, he secured three passes covering 58 yards across as many targets.
Pittsburgh's unit has struggled to generate points, mustering only a single touchdown drive across its first two outings—a brief 31-yard march versus Atlanta in the season opener, followed by a mere field goal against New England last week. Pittman arrived in Pittsburgh via a trade after his former franchise, Indianapolis, secured a new agreement with receiver Alec Pierce.
