Sports Ministry officials to keep focus on BRICS Games, skip Asian Games travel

Top leadership within the Sports Ministry, led by Sports Secretary Hari Ranjan Rao, has chosen not to make the trip to the ongoing 2026 Asian Games hosted in Aichi-Nagoya. Instead, these key decision-makers will remain in the country to concentrate fully on organizing the upcoming BRICS Traditional and Indigenous Sports Demonstration Games scheduled for October 12 and 13 in Ahmedabad.
