Kohli, Gill fall for a duck and 1 run in same over vs West Indies

India suffered a disastrous start during the third ODI against West Indies on Saturday when Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli were dismissed within the exact same over. Gill contributed merely a single run before edging a delivery from Jayden Seales into the gloves of wicketkeeper Shai Hope.

Kohli departed immediately afterward without scoring, beaten clean by a straight ball from the bowler that rattled his middle stump.

The quick double strike left the batting side struggling deeply with barely any runs on the board. Both experienced players had previously enjoyed great productivity throughout the series, which featured centuries from each batter alongside a double century by Gill and a milestone achievement for Kohli reaching 15,000 career runs in the format.
